Marlena Ostrowska & Jan Jaworski
Marlena Ostrowska
clarinetist and educator. She graduated from the Białystok branch of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music (UMFC). She honed her skills participating in numerous national and international masterclasses under the guidance of clarinet virtuosos. She has performed both as a soloist and together with orchestras and chamber ensembles. In the years 2009–2017, she performed as a clarinetist with the ‘Kurpie Zielone’ Song and Dance Ensemble. Since 2022, her work has been focused on traditional Polish music. She regularly performs with three groups, including the Warsaw-Lublin Brass Band, the Radoska band, and the Nierodzinna Kapela Ostrowskich band.
Jan Jaworski
violinist, composer, music teacher. He graduated from the violin class in the Jazz and Popular Music Department at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. He gives performances both in Poland and abroad. His musical interests span jazz, traditional music, and original compositions. He is known from bands like Światowce, Kwartet Futurologiczny, Spiskie Melodie, Nierodzinna Kapela Ostrowskich, and Gregorian Grace. His compositions include theatrical music.
