RYSY

RYSY

Rysy

Rysy – a duo comprised of Wojciech Urbański and Łukasz Stachurko. It is one of the best-recognized music projects on the Polish electronic stage The music is full of catchy yet melancholic melodies, as well as rhythmic intensity reminiscent of techno music. In 2022, the band received the Fryderyk award for the album 4GET (in the  Album of the Year – Electronics category). Wojciech Urbański is also a film music composer. He composed scores for nearly ten films and series on the biggest streaming platforms. For the music for the movie Hiacynt (2021) he received an award at the Krakow Film Music Festival in 2022. Recently, he also wrote the score for Netflix’s latest hit series – Aniela. Urbański has also produced several big musical events. In June 2025, he was the main producer of Quebonafide’s concert at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw.

Closing this year’s Silent Movie Festival, High Treason (1929) is a disturbingly relevant political fiction film. Rysy – with their hypnotic rhythm and hyper-emotionality approaching that of rave, as well as experience in creating music for genre cinema, have every tool at hand to make this pictures particularly suggestive.
