Asi Mina
Asi Mina, also known as Joanna Bronisławska, is an artist, performer, and educator. For her, music serves as a pretext to meet, talk, act, and develop. Since 1994, she has been associated with the independent label mik.musik.! He is a member of the experimental duo Mołr Drammaz. Apart from composing and playing her music, she also writes lyrics and sings. As Asi Mina, between 2006 and 2014, she released four albums, inspired, among other things, by the aesthetics of children’s and fairy-tale music. She is a very experienced music educator. She is currently involved in creating Muzykodrom – stacja lotów kosmicznych, a place to meet and work with sound as part of the Katowice Miasto Ogrodow initiative. She also hosts Aukso 4 Kids – a series of concerts for families, as well as the M.U.ZY.K.A. w Auksyn concerts for schools at Mediateka in Tychy. She is a lecturer in Art Therapy at the GWSP school in Chorzów. She runs, reads, listens, and reflects.
Asi Mina will be joined on stage by the double bassist Dominik Polak of the Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy AUKSO and the French horn player Michał Zdrzałek of the Song and Dance Ensemble ‘Śląsk’.
Asi Mina’s music will accompany short films about mad inventors and two commercials from 100 years ago, advertising the new technologies of the time. She will perform together with other musicians, inviting children and parents to join in creating the sound for the films.
