Titanic Sea Moon

Three of the musicians making up the Słupsk, Elbląg and Kętrzyn-based quartet Titanic Sea Moon were previously members of Ewa Braun, one of the most important Polish underground bands of the 1990s. Formed just before the pandemic, Titanic Sea Moon hark back to the raw, guitar-driven sound of three decades ago, not only in terms of personnel but also aesthetically. Their fusion of punk and post-rock produces hypnotic, improvised tracks, sometimes several minutes long, that are a kind of soundscape – at times noisy, and other times minimalist.

Since 2020, the band has recorded two studio albums and shared several live recordings online – and it is in their live performances that the quartet unleash their full potential. Besides performing live, the members of TSM have also composed and performed music for the Witkacy New Theatre in Słupsk, and they were also featured in the film Love, Peace, Noise (dir. Jarosław Kasperek, 2023), a documentary recounting the story of the group Ewa Braun.
