Mario Forte

Mario Forte is a French-Italian violinist, graduate of the Paris Conservatoire, first prize winner of the 2018 Zbigniew Seifert International Jazz Violin Competition, best recognised for his versatility and free movement between different musical genres. While living in New York, he has collaborated with musicians such as Mark Feldman, Matt Hollenberg and many others from John Zorn's music scene such as Richard Bona, Kevin Hays, Al MacDowell, Anat Cohen, David Gilmore, Samson Schmitt and Clarence PENN. The interesting and entertaining use of the violin with various electronic effects is sure to appeal to the youngest audience.
