Jakub Zimończyk
An accordionist and harmonium player who studied under Piotr Gaca and Tadeusz Lipiec, Jakub also learned about traditional music through his work with archival documents, many of which he found himself. He is an admirer of the music of northern Lesser Poland and the Opoczno-Radom borderland, as well as Polish music of the interwar period. He plays obertas, polka and foxtrot in the Bonanza Dance Orchestra, and he also runs accordion and three-row accordion workshops at the Embassy of Traditional Music.
