
AGA DERLAK
Aga Derlak
A pianist, composer and educator, Aga is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Music Academy in Katowice, where she trained under the guidance of Michał Tokaj, Paweł Tomaszewski and Danilo Pérez, pianist in the Wayne Shorter Quartet. She has won a number of prestigious awards, including a Fryderyk for her trio’s debut album (First Thought, 2015), and given concerts throughout Europe and also in the US, Turkey, Panama and Mexico. In 2017, the Aga Derlak Trio’s second album, Healing, was released and she is currently working on her third album, Parallel, which is due for release in autumn 2021.
