Maciej Tubis
A pianist and composer, Maciej also lectures in improvisation at the Academy of Music in Łódź. He has recorded four albums with his trio, the first of which – Live In Luxembourg – was very well received by critics both at home and abroad. The album was named one of the best releases of the year by Stuart Nicholson in the British magazine Jazzwise, and also by the editorial staff of The Village Voice. The Maciej Tubis Trio’s latest album So Us, released in 2019, is an attempt to capture on record the high energy and characteristic groove of their live performances.
